Julia Bolles-Wilson visited the Bibliothèque national du Luxembourg to reflect about the role of libraries on the example of BOLLES+WILSON’s work while she focused on a work report on the architecture of the recently opened National Library of Luxembourg.

After intensive years of planning the National Library of Luxembourg was inaugurated in September 2019. From the first day on, the number of visitors exceeded the expectations of all those involved and countered the general skepticism about reading, books and the venerable public library that was emerging as a result of increasing digitalization.
